Asheville

Independence Day Block Party — South Slope

Saturday, July 4 | Noon – 10 PM | Fireworks ~9:30 PM
Coxe Avenue to Buxton Avenue, Downtown Asheville

Asheville's biggest Independence Day celebration takes over the South Slope for a full day of free, family-friendly programming: live music at Asheville Yards, entertainment at Banks + Buxton, food trucks, local vendors, a car show on Coxe Avenue, and the Ultimate Air Dogs show. The night wraps with one of the region's premier fireworks displays. Expect downtown parking decks and street closures — arrive early.

Asheville Tourists Baseball

Saturday, July 4 | Game begins 6:05 PM vs. Hub City Spartanburgers | Post-game fireworks
HomeTrust Park, Asheville

Catch America's pastime before the show — the Tourists host a post-game fireworks display immediately following the final out. A game ticket is required for admission.

Buncombe County

Buncombe County's 250th Anniversary Independence Day Celebration

Saturday, July 4 | Festivities begin 5 PM | Fireworks ~9:15 PM
North Buncombe Fields, 890 Clarks Chapel Road, Weaverville (parking at North Buncombe High School)

This is the county's official celebration, and it's new to Weaverville for 2026. Expect live music from Fuzzy Peppers and Mission Accomplished, local food trucks, face painting, and family activities ahead of the fireworks show shortly after dark.

Downtown Weaverville 4th of July

Saturday, July 4 | 7 – 10:30 PM | Fireworks ~9:15 PM
Main Street, Weaverville

A true hometown celebration — Main Street fills with live music (SNAP the Band), dancing, and lawn chairs lining the sidewalks. Fireworks launch from the Weaverville Primary School ballfield, making downtown one of the coziest, most walkable viewing spots in the area.

Marshall

Marshall Rodeo & Fireworks (60th Annual)

Saturday, July 4 | Gates open 6 PM, rodeo at 8 PM, fireworks immediately after on July 4
Madison County Fairgrounds, 330 Carolina Lane, Marshall

This is North Carolina's longest-running rodeo, and it's a genuine Marshall tradition. July 3 is Family Night with a kids' dance contest; July 4 brings the professional fireworks show right after the rodeo. Admission is $20 for adults, $10 for kids (5 and under free).

• Personal fireworks are prohibited year-round in Pisgah National Forest and all national forest land.
• Arrive early for any downtown Asheville event — parking decks and street closures fill up fast.
